我交换的英国赫特福德大学，是一所年轻又充满活力的现代化大学。其数学，天文专业均跻身英国大学专业排名前十。赫特福德郡位于英格兰东部，曾被作为电影《傲慢与偏见》的取景地。
The University of Hertfordshire which I studied in this yearis short time of school building but fulfill extremely modern elements. However, the major of Mathematics and Astronomy have entered the top 10 in the British university’s major ranking. The county located in eastern England, and it is also well known for movie “Pride and Prejudice” filming location.

在松弛有度的学习之余，我和朋友利用节假日时间游览英国的著名城市和小镇，更深地感受了这个国家。
Various journeys is available in the spare time of busy study. So my friend and I had been to some famous cities and small towns where we had a deeper feelings to UK.

英国人重视工作与休闲的结合，他们热爱下午茶和组织聚会。每周都有层出不穷的新鲜活动可以参加。
British pays attention to keeping he balance on work and rest.They love afternoon tea and party. and there are lots of interesting theme activities every week.
他们的民族性格较矛盾，是一个严谨又略无厘头，热情又内敛的国家。
UK is a country with contradictoriness, national personality.There are strict and irrational humour, enthusiasm and indifferent.
很值得学习的是他们对文化传承的态度。比如说常见的英国建筑，包括伦敦城，都是上几个世纪产物，各地古老而不同的民俗也可以在日常生活中得到展现。
One thing worth to learning is their attitude towards culture Inheritance. For example, the common constructions, including London City, have very long history. We usually can see archaic custom in daily life.

我觉得留学的意义，不局限于提高多少英语水平。像国外高中向大学的过渡年一样，就是趁着年轻的时候，更多的吸收不同的观点，拓展看待问题的思路。
Accordingly, I thought the meaning of studying abroad should not limited in improving English level. More importantly, when taking the advantage of young, you will absorb different opinions and widen notions about some events, just like the significance of gap year in foreign countries.
