Summer Program, 2024
Introduction
This program is designed for students who wish to take advantage of their summer vacation to learn not just the Chinese language, but also various aspects of Chinese culture. This program combines three hours of daily Chinese language instruction along with diversified activities and field trips.
The Chinese language course has 3 levels ranging from beginner to advance. Cultural activities and field trips offer students hands-on experiences with traditional crafts, martial arts and performing arts.

3. Plentiful Cultural Activities
There will be plenty cultural activities organized to enrich students’extracurricular life during the summer course, enabling students to experience the charm of traditional Chinese culture.
4. Field Trips
In order for students to better enjoy the beauty of China and colorful Chinese culture and custom, two one-day trips to landscape, ancient town or historical city will be organized.
5.Reasonable Fees
Program tuition: RMB 6390 yuan (accommodation provided)
Registration Fee: RMB 240
Payment method: Cash or bank card (with a Union Pay icon)
6. Application & Registration Precedure
1) Please contact us by E-mailfor application forms and other necessary materials.
2) ZWU will send you letters of admission and JW202 forms upon receipt of your application forms and passport copy.
3) Apply for Student [X1] Visa at your local Chinese embassy or Chinese consulate.
4) Get registered at ZWU within the stated period on JW202 form.
7. Introduction of Zhejiang Wanli University
The Zhejiang Wanli University has a history 66 years and is located in Ningbo, one of the most dynamic business and industrial centers of the Zhejiang Province. It is structured in Schools and Faculties and provides 2 graduate programs and 47 undergraduate programs. At present, there are around 20,000 full time undergraduate, postgraduate and international students with 1,200 full time teachers on campus.
ZWU places great importance on academic exchange and cooperation with foreign universities, and has signed agreements with more than 60 universities in over 20 countries and regions including the United States, Canada, Britain, France, New Zealand, Japan, Korea, Poland, Turkey and Slovakia.
ZWU is located in the downtown of Yinzhou District, where two shopping malls (10 minutes by car to Wanda Plaza, 5 minutes by car to In City), two supermarkets Wal-Mart and Metro, restaurants, and banks nearby. In addition, ZWU is located close to the Ningbo South Business District, where various enterprises gather. This advantage location provides students convenient life and possible internship and job opportunities with no doubt.
8. Ningbo Profile
Bordering the East-China Sea, Ningbo, with Territory of 9,365 square kilometers andPopulation of 7 million, is located in the south of Yangtze River delta, which is the most developed economic region in China.The convenient transportation, 2 hours by train, 2 and half hours by car to Shanghai, and 1 hour by train, 2 hours by car to Hangzhou, the Provincial Capital, has enabled Ningbo to become one part of the Economic Golden Triangle, together with Shanghai and Hangzhou.
Enjoying a sound infrastructural basis, Ningbo has scored remarkable achievements in its social and economic development since the initiation of the Opening and Reform Policy. Nowadays, Ningbo has become an important industrial city and foreign trading port in east China, a key city and chemical industrial base in the Yangtze River Delta and an economic centre of Zhejiang Province. In addition, Ningbo is among ten Happiest Cities of China in 2014, the Excellent Tourist City of China, and among ten Most Secure Cities in 2013.
